Meet the Team
Since 1972, Hedgehog's single focus has been the acquisition, rehabilitation, leasing and management of older, often historic properties. Over the years, we have completed many projects that are listed on the National Register of Historic Places or are within a National Register Historic District. Our properties vary from the Civil War-Era Farren's Stable located in Washington, D.C.'s Capitol Hill Historic District, to Pilot Mill, Raleigh's oldest surviving textile mill. Other rehabilitation projects include Glencoe River Mill, an early water powered textile mill located in Burlington and Eno River Mill located minutes outside of Hillsborough's historic downtown. Our staff is dedicated to restoring these historic places and making them a one of a kind working environment for office users.
Managing Member | Property Acquisition and Development
Frank R. Gailor
Frank Gailor is a managing member of Hedgehog and concentrates on acquisition and development of properties. His background is in law and finance. He has a JD (with honors) from George Washington University and an MPA (with distinction) from The Maxwell School, Syracuse University. Prior to practicing law in Washington D.C., Frank served on the Staff of a Member of Congress. Frank has four children and eight grandchildren.

Jocelyn Wells
Jocelyn Wells is president of the management arm of the business and is responsible for leasing and day-to-day operations. She is a Virginia native who moved to North Carolina to attend NC State University. After graduation, Jocelyn couldn’t bring herself to leave the beauty of North Carolina. Jocelyn went on to earn an MBA from Meredith College. She also has two sweet kids and a great husband. She is Franks Gailor’s middle daughter and enjoys working with her dad in the family business.
Property Specialist
Elena Wells
Elena Wells joined our team as a Historic Building Specialist in January 2021. She works with other staff members, prospective tenants, and outside professionals to develop and maintain three of our properties. Elena has a degree in Political Science from the University of North Carolina Asheville and enjoys making pottery (poorly) and collecting house plants.
Property Specialist
Ajana Molineux
Ajana Molineux is our property specialist for all our Raleigh properties. Prior to joining our team in 2022, she owned and operated a facilities maintenance company in the Triangle area. She brings years of experience (and much enthusiasm) with her. When not at work, you will find her fully immersed in creative home improvement projects, in the garden, or keeping multiple pets, a teenage daughter, and a fiancé alive.

Sprout Wells
Sprout is the glue that holds our team together. Always one to lend a paw and check up on his people, he embodies the principles that we try to live by. When he's not managing our Human Resources department, you can find him enjoying lickable cat treats and trying to reach his ambitious daily step goal.

Ryan De Fer
Ryan began working at Hedgehog Companies in 2022. Born in Boston and raised in Minneapolis, he has a diverse set of skills that he has picked up through years of experience. Nowadays, you can find him by the pool or capturing beautiful photos from his many international travels.

Santiago Herrera
Santiago is a native of Panama, where he practiced law and fell in love with his wife and dog. He moved to America in 2022, and started working at Hedgehog Holdings in 2023. In his spare time he likes to work on his physique and practice singing.

Cameron Christensen
Cameron came to work for Hedgehog Holdings in 2026. Originally from the Midwest, he brings impressive carpentry skills from his background in home repair . He has two chihuahuas and will be tying the knot with his wonderful fiancé later this year!
