Since 1972, Hedgehog's single focus has been the acquisition, rehabilitation, leasing and management of older, often historic properties. Over the years, we have completed a number of projects that are listed on the National Register of Historic Places or are within a National Register Historic Districts. Our properties vary from the Civil War Era Farren's Stable located in Washington, D.C.'s Capitol Hill Historic District to Pilot Mill, Raleigh's oldest surviving textile mill. We are currently working on rehabilitation projects in Burlington at the Glencoe River Mill, an early water powered textile mill, as well as Eno River Mill in Hillsborough, NC, just minutes outside of Hillsborough's historic downtown. Our staff is dedicated to restoring these historic places and making them one of a kind living environments for the modern day office users.
