Since 1972, Hedgehog's single focus has been the acquisition, rehabilitation, leasing and management of older, often historic properties. Over the years, we have completed many projects that are listed on the National Register of Historic Places or are within a National Register Historic District. Our properties vary from the Civil War Era, Farren's Stable located in Washington, D.C.'s Capitol Hill Historic District, to Pilot Mill, Raleigh's oldest surviving textile mill. Other rehabilitation projects include Glencoe River Mill, an early water powered textile mill located in Burlington and Eno River Mill located minutes outside of Hillsborough's historic downtown. Our staff is dedicated to restoring these historic places and making them a one of a kind working environment for office users.
